Dr. Juan Carlos Vazquez graduated from Pierce College in Woodland Hills, California, with an Associate of Arts degree in 1982.
Dr. Vazquez subsequently obtained further education from CSUN. fter this, chhe began his professional training at the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, and became a Doctor of Chiropractic in 1986. He was also an interim teacher at Cleveland Chiropractic College in the subjects of spinal anatomy, human biomechanics and specific spinal adjusting.
Dr. Juan Carlos Vazquez's considerable post-graduate training from 1987 to the present includesbut is not limited to the following: Extremity Adjusting, Chiropractic Treatment for Children, Rehabilitation for Pre and Post Surgical Musculoskeletal conditions, MRI interpretation for Chiropractors, Lifestyle Medicine Courses in prescribing exercise, stress management and sleel reqirements for optimum performance and physiological normalcy. He has also completed post graduate courses in surface thermography, surface electromyography and manipulation under anesthesia.
Dr. Vazquez has also received certification as an Industrial Injury Evaluator from the International Chiropractors Association of California in Sacramento, California.
Dr. Juan Carlos Vazquez e completed an Applied Spinal Biomechanical Engineering (A.S.B.E.) course called Introduction to the American Academy of Clinical Applied Spinal Biochemical Engineering in Los Angeles, as well as Principles and Practice at The Science of Spinal Remodeling at the Aragona Spinal Biochemical Engineering Research Laboratories in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Since 2008, he has taken courses for certification in MRI interpretation and understading for Chiropractors and in 2009 became on the first 500 doctors in the U.S. to be Certified as a Medical Compliance Specialist ( MCS-P ).
